“Wife”, “mother”, “grandma”, “retired teacher”, “prayer group leader”. In a nutshell, those words describe much of who I have been for most of my adult life. But the phrase that I identify most with is “lover of Jesus!”

So often over the past many years, as I wrote the Lord’s whisperings in my journals, they encouraged me so much that I wanted to share them. Amazingly, one weekend God used 3 different people in 3 separate situations to make it clear that He wants me to write for others to be blessed. That weekend was over 6 years ago, and it’s taken me this long to work up the courage to finally start this engine! I have to say that so far, this new adventure is both exciting and daunting. Nevertheless, here I go!

I have called this site “Pondering Jesus” because that’s what I do when I spend time with Him. I ponder. I ponder His word. I ponder His ways. And in my “ponderings” the Spirit of God whispers truth to my heart.

My prayer is that as you read, God will use my “ponderings” to speak to your heart about Himself and about the treasure of His word. May your own spirit be awakened to ponder Him anew! Truly there is no God like our God!
